Add another 19 to the running total. Would have shot more but it was so hot around Calgary that after a half hour beer required my attention instead of the Golphers

Gopher shooting is still surprisingly good for this late in the year. The dry weather is keeping the grass short and first hay cut is in full swing. Get out and get some.

Add 15 to the total, found a small patch with my buddy and we let the arrows fly! Bow hunting gophers has got to be the ultimate fun afternoon. The last kill was at 45yds. 29081.

had a good centerfire shoot yesterday with the wind blowing in smoke from the forest fires it made longer shots a bit tricky but we still got lots of shooting in.
with multiple shooters the count got a bit jumbled so i will half it just to be on the safe side.
29081+350=29431 plus 200 from friday brings it to.29631

My son and I battled 40+ kph winds with our 10/22's today. Mostly long shots. My personal best today was at 86 paces. Traded up from my Bog Pod bipod, and bought a Primos Trigger Stick tripod. Totally impressed, and so far well worth the sticker shock!

the rest of the animals have discovered how amazing my field is! saw 3 ferrets 1 badger and the hawks are flying around like ravens to a gut pile! even with all that predator activity keeping them down i still managed another 160

Got out for some paper shooting and decided to take a quick walk. In total we took another 11. 31,852+11=31,863.
This included my personal best of 221 yards with my 22-250.
