Default Antlers are growing..

Went out today to pull a few cameras. Didn't get a whole bunch but at least got to see a little bit of antler growth. It'll get interesting soon now.

That's Going to be a great buck! I saw a couple nice mule deer last weekend. One was grown just past its ears. I can't wait to go check my cams in a few weeks.

WOW. that buck should be a beauty judging by the width, mass and brow tine lengths. Much larger than anything on my cams.

From what I been seeing I think antler growth is behind other years. I think the foliage and green growth is stunted in my area from lack of rainfall and is affecting antler growth.

Couple different bucks so far from this year. Top one looks a little younger and brows are a little shorter.

A few little guys & gals... Next years targets, if they make it thru this deer-season & winter. They look a bit skinny.

The moose must've been close enough to the cam to get spooked by the shutter, or else she's camera shy !

Admitedly (sp?), the reaction time for the motion-sensor isnt the greatest. But hey, that's what bait is for !

Geuss I need to start a food plot...

Drove through jasper yesterday and seen a bull elk that was already packing a 6x6 that looked to be branching off into a 8x7! Wished I would of stopped to take a picture!

The Deer down south sure seem to be further along then the Deer here.

I have been watching a couple that hang around my property. Nothing big, but I like seeing them. Comparing to what you guys are posting, these bucks are just getting started.

The bigger of the two in May.

Then in early June

And finally three days ago

And the smaller buck, on June 15.

Awesome pics guys, keep it up. Keeps a guy energized and looking forward to the fall. I have 5 camera's out in an area where I saw some big mulies last year and a new spot that looks very promising. Going to give it another week and then see what I got!

I only checked two yesterday, I still have two more to check tomorrow. Lets hope for the best. I had a lot of deer in that 135-150" mark on camera last year.
It is going to be a long wait till Sept. 1st
