Default any hurricane watchers on this forum

hurricane Irene looking like it could be a very nasty storm for the usa looks like north Carolina going to get hit with a cat 4 hurricane friday or saturday

interesting to see what happens

Im a big fan of reading the public advisory updates on the national hurricane centre website. It's good reading if anyone is interested in the scientific side of things.

They're saying it will be category 4 and hit the Carolinas. Could be nasty.
