Default Crawling Valley canal

Hey all. Yesterday I fished Crawling Vallye Reservoir. I was fishing near the campsite and then got bored so I decided to drive North down a dirt road in a field until I came across a big pond. The pond had a canal feeding it and this canal wound through a small valley and then into another pond which was attached to CVR. If you look on google earth or google maps you can actually see the pond and the big canal connecting it to the lake. It is a few kilometers north of the campground.

My question is...does anybody know if there are fish in the pond or in the canal? I saw evidence that people have camped on the shore of the pond but I did not see any fish jumping or surfacing.

That is the one. The canal is obviously man made but for what purpose I do not know. It was a cool area to walk around. I am just wondering if the ponds and canal have fish.

I don't see why there wouldn't be. If it's shallow at the very least it'll hold pike.
