Again....if any clubs or shooters want to add this class to their local shoots and need assistance with scorecards, rules, etc. Please reply to this thread or contact the ABA 3D Committee.

Great to see so many shooters giving this class a try. Also great to see clubs adding the class.

Sounds great.
I've never done a real 3D shoot but I'd be keen to try.
Will you post a list of dates & locations?
Thanks

The shoots are all listed at the top of the archery discussion page, under the Archery shoot thread.

Parkland Bowbenders announced they will also have the ABA Bowhunter Challenge Class added as a part of their shoot! This will be the second installment, unless another club picks it up prior

If you have never done 3d or you are a veteran, bring out your hunting bow and give this a try! I can almost guarantee you will be glad you did.

Shoot is June 27-28 be there bright and early to register!

In the past it has been a long range "almost" impossible shot. To try and get an arrow in a tube for a really awesome prize.

if I only had a sight that I could set at 90-100 yards I might try it would be luck if you get it since the pins cover so much of the target at that distance

Reminder this coming weekend the Parkland Bowbenders are having an all classes shoot and that includes the Bowhunter Challenge class. Looks like the weather should cooperate, hope to see a bunch of folks there!

Another good turn out to Parkland Bow Benders shoot. Thanks to the organizers and the club for setting up a bunch of fun shots and for having a well run shoot.

Also thanks from the ABA 3d Committee for adding the Bowhunter Challenge class to the shoot....thanks to the participants and those who filled out the survey!

Glad you had fun! Parkland has a history of organizing great shoots, the Bowhunter Challenge Class was the largest class at the shoot! Thanks in part to you and your friends coming out to give it a go!

Parkland shoot results. Interesting enough the hunter challenge class was the largest single class at the shoot! If we include the traditional, ladies and kids that shot it we had around 25-30 shooters give it a try. Which is about 1/3 of the total.

Carson from Jimbows was closest about 4-5 inches away. 110+ yards. He was using a hunting bow without a pin that went that far!

I have this one of Carson and Bob awarding a bow to a very happy young lady that Jimbows donated to the shoot.

Wish I could have made it to that shoot. I haven't been to a Parkland BB shoot since Christ had a soft spot. Look like it was a good time.
