Default G Bear Pics (PIC HEAVY)

Had to make a business trip to BC today and had opportunity to take some pics of this guy on HWY 93 just. Made the 8 hours of driving more enjoyable.

He was maybe 15 yards.

They are an AWESOME animal, only ran into 2 of them while I was hunting...both times I agreed the valley they were in was "definitely" theirs!!!. fantastic!!!

Frans,
I was thinking the same thing.... keep all body parts in the truck! He got fairly close and didn't have a care in the world that I was sitting there. I think he wanted my Copenhagen!!
Funny to see him cross the snow pack by pretty much crawling on his belly with his leg sprawled right out flat!!

A while back it seemed that every grizzly you saw in the national parks was wearing a radio collar and bright ear tags. It's nice to see that the 'research' isn't so intense anymore and you can see wild animals again.

THAT is the only way I would shoot a bear, I just don't see the point of shooting a fuzzy pig.
