Just wondering if anyone knows if there is burbot in Sturgeon lake? If so is there great enough numbers to drive 3 hrs one way to fish them? Thanks in advance.

Default Yes...

The answer to your question is yes they are in the lake, my guess is to fish for them close to the mouth of any inlet or outlet creeks...last hour of daylight and first couple hours of darkness should yield some results on tip ups.
