propane bbq help!
I am trying to bbq some burgers and the bbq won't light properly? I open the valve on the tank and hear a hissing sound...so i naturally think it's a leak somewhere. Upon closer inspection, its propane coming out of a hole (meant to be there) on the metal regulator on the hose that connects the tank to the bbq. Once you turn the gas burner knob's to the on position before you ignite it, the hissing stops. When I try to ignite, only one side will ignite and only very low, almost barely staying lit.
I have tried removing the tank and connecting it again, wiggling hoses, slamming the whole works with a moderate amount of force, lol, and nothing will work. Why is it doing this? I presume the hole is for backup pressure or something? I've never had this problem before and bbq in a lot colder weather than this.
