butchered my first deer this year, have always taken it to longview but decided to give it a shot this year. I have got it separated into roast etc, but am looking for some good recipe's to make sausage and jerky, and recipies would be appreciated, thanks,

Googled a couple sites last night...just enetered "sausage making recipes" or wild game sausage making"...lots of recipes,,,make a small amount, and try as you go!!!

I noticed they now sell jerky guns at can. tire. ( $39.00) It's the plastic one but it works fine.
Grind the meat or get it ground, use any of the dry cure/spice kits, use jerky gun and dehydrator and you'll have great jerky. Easy and clean.
