Default What is the best Knife set to get for field dressing

Hey,

I've been sent on a mission so here goes...

What is the best knife set to get for field dressing/butchering once back at base? The hunter is an avid bow hunter (that will shoot as well) and he goes after mostly Elk, Deer and one day will try for a Mountain Sheep with his gun.
We need to find something that is easy to carry around, light weight and in a reasonable price range. I think anything over $150 is asking too much right now.

Suggestions?

Thanks!
I love my hunting man.

Kershaw blade trader, a handy 3 in 1 kit, skinner, small saw, gutter. My bud uses it all the time, I think they are under 100.00. Check out JB Outdoors, a small homebase business amongst mant that sell these Kershaw knives. FS

I like the Outdoor Edge knives.... the Kodi Pak, or Butcher Lite set should work fine for butchering, skinning, caping.. etc

Both should be well under the $130 mark. Be sure to check Ebay. I got a couple Outdoor Edge Outpacks for $70 each... They go for $160-$200 in stores around here...

Just check the post on CUTCO Knifes from three days ago or search it on this thread. There are a couple gentlemen on this forum that sell them. Dean can help you out for sure (DSP on this forum)
