Default boots for ice fishing

Just wanted to get some ideas or opinions on a good boot for winter, ice fishing etc, not to bulky. Thanks

I've had Rocky Blizzard Stalker's for a few years. 1200 grams Thinsulate. No complaints so far. Warm and dry. Whatever you choose, you'll want to get the thickest sole you can. The more distance separating your foot from the ice, the warmer!

I wear the sorrels nice and warm. May be a little bulky but If I get chased by a big trout I think I can still out run him.

I have Sorel Intrepid 100's. Awesome boots! They don't harden up and stay nice and spongy even when it's really cold out and they are 100% Waterproof. Also, they have excellent traction even on bare, wet ice.

I just have some regular snow boots but we have a good supply of "foot warmers" that you can tuck in if your feet are cooling off...Plus I put on some of those stretchy ice-cleat things which are great as I am totally phobic about slipping and falling on ice!
