Wicked, I have had a cow moose and a doe investigate me to about 10 yrds while rifle hunting. That was fun to watch. Big pucker factor as a friend puts it.

That went well. Spikers seem to like doing that. One was busy peein' all over himself and got my buddy all wet. His first time in close on one. That was way too funny.

Awesome footage,

Had that happen to the girlfriend (now wife) 15 years ago while scouting. We were hiding in a rock pile on the edge of a field along a well used trail.

The entire herd filed by us (25 animals) at maybe 2 yards. Wife was squeezing my arm because she was scared, damn arm hurt for a week!

here is a picture of my setup works great in the bush!
it is a Kodak playsport x3.
I have had 2 of them for 4 years and they work awesome, big screen faces you so easy to see and adjust.
sound capture is phenominal.
Kodak does not make them any more, but lots on ebay. price has gone up crazy. I bought my 2 for 120 and 80 $

I got within 2-3 yards from a cow elk on Suffield Tuesday. She was curled up, and I thought she was dead. As I approached, she struggled to get up and hobbled away with her right hind leg dangling. She was one of several wounded cow and calf elk we came across.
We called it in to the base when we got cell reception. I hope they dealt with it humanely.
