Default Motor Guide Warrenty

Took my Motor Guide W55 in for warrenty work In August. It wouldnt Turn either way. So when I brought it in i find out there are 15 of the exact same motors in there with the exact same problem. I didnt hear anything from the guy I droped it off till so in January I finaly gave him a call He said he was trying to get me a new motor because Mine will cost as much to fix as its worth. So Ive called him back every couple of weeks since to see whats up and I get the same anser every time. They havnt got back to me Ill send them another Email. At this rate I Doubt ill see a motor till next winter. Starting to **** a guy off. anyone else deal with motor Guides warrenty?

Mine came in the boat package from Crestliner. When it cratered took it back to my dealer, they gave me another one to use while they fixed mine. Took 3 months to get it back but at least they gave me one to use in the meantime.

that kind of issue is pretty common (well, the poor svs anyway)
i'd have to side with walleyeca on this one; minnkota - not that the reel dr is that close to you, but for svs on minnkota, he fixed my while i waited (simmilar "common" problem: they had multiple of the part in stock)
i know it doesnt help but...
cheers
