The new facebook, has more features, which drown out the stuff you dont need to see unless you are actually looking for it. Nothing wrong with Facebook, you just actually need friends to make it work, lol

I have gotten back in contact with many friends i grew up with and havent seen in over 20 years.

And also, why is this in fishing discussion?

Im going to have to go with Bigbore on this one. I have gotten back in touch with tons of people i havent even talked to since high school. Sure people have too much time on their hands but all in all i think its a great site.... And YES why is this on a fishing forum again?

That about sums up my thoughts on Facebook as well...

I fell for it for a short while...got in touch with a few people...then I started to realize how many idiots there were around and why I had stopped talking to people in the first place...haha.

Pulled my account and havent been happier....heh

I totally agree. You go in facebook have a brief interaction with somebody and usualy remember why you have not kept in contact. It's like seeing a person you had known but never liked, in a public place. You tell each other how great it is to see one another then you look kfor a way to escape the situation before a # exchanger or awkward invitation. I'm fine without facebook. RH
