Old powder
i have a bunch of old eurpean powder ,,prolly packaged in the 60`s or 70`s...
sum containers r still sealed.
all of it if for shotshells or pistol so its on the faster side.
wounderin if its still good to use ? or for what is worth burn it and keep the pretty cans it came in?
what is powder shelf life any ways ,,lol ?
i know aa few of the tell tale signs like , acid smell is bad ,,,ether smell is good but thats about it ...

If you open it and it smells lithe ether, you're goodtogo.
if it has been sealed and stored properly there should not be an issue.
ii have shot powder that was opened and was 20 years old, it still sent the bullets through the crony at the same speed as new stuff...

Well this is good to know ,,thanks catnthehat
i opened a can of Anigrina ,made by Bascheri & Pellagri,,,doesnt smell like anything lol .. is,a flake, redish in color and burns very well when lit.
I will snoop the Net and see if i can find a burn rate for the stuff .
