I didn't even get a pic of his right side. It's a 1/4" longer. 16" bases, 33" long, 5.5 years old.

Congrats! It's a tough hunt. Pigeon seemed a little lower than where we were at I think so I am curious to know how the wind was. I saw a pile of sheep on Pigeon one day about the 8th of November. Saw a couple people hiking and wondered if there were rams over there but it was too far to tell.
That is a great ram with a bow. Any sheep is. I would be curious to know the stats on who harvested a ram.

It was blowing with pretty strong gusts when I got him. I'd guess 50 km/hr gusting to 80. The wind was really crazy on the 20th when that storm came in. I had to actually stop hiking and just brace myself and lean into the wind to keep from getting blown over. I didn't have ski goggles and it was like getting sand blasted. Had to turn my back to it and walk backwards to get off the hill. Fun times!

Default Ski goggles

Note to self. If you have to remember to bring those for the wind its a dedicated hunt.

I had felt like I got a massive sunburn a couple days from the ice peeling my face off in the wind lol It was nuts. One of the items I took was ski goggles. At times it was the only thing to help you be able to see

Hey CONGRATS herc883
I think I bumped into you out there. I was super successful as I had some of the most fun I've had in the mountains with friends but did not harvest a ram. I think I had 20 something days out there and my wife calved on Nov 15th to boot. I did see lots of rams and a couple crankers however just didn't line up. Nice to hear not the only rams shot by residents was only off the edge of the mine.

I remember bumping into you. Congratulations on the addition to the family! Hope all is well with the wife and baby. You're super lucky your wife let you put in 20 days in a month that she gave birth in the middle of it. You've got some making up to do now!

Default Congrats on the beautiful ram

Congrats on your ram. Brings back memories from my hunt in 2010. I was all by myself and had no one around except for opening day. I had decent weather except for the wind. I had severe winds most of the time with very little snow. What a hunt with fond memories. Congrats again!
