Default Trail Cameras

I was thinking about investing in some & what some of you prefer that are using them, what's a good investment for the money without breaking the bank . Cabela's had a sale on a 3 pack stealth cam qs12 with the infrared red light which shows when taking pictures . Thinking ones they call No glow might be better as far as detection from individuals . Any info appreciated .

I like the spy points. Specifically the 11-D has been good to me. I have one browning, believe it is the strike force HD pro, that has been good to me as well. If I was to do it again I would get the spy point solar for cams I'm going to set and leave for a long period of time as they are too deep or long drives away to check frequently. For close to home I would get the Spy Point 11D or Browning again without hesitation.

One thing I recommend is to get a stealthcam card reader for your phone to check the SD card before you leave to make sure the pics are good. Also, buy 2 SD cards for each camera so you can just swap and upload to your computer at home. Personally I like to have a carrying case for my SD cards that you can get online at amazon.

I like models which have an internal viewer to look at pictures in the field. This way, you can adjust your camera or move it to a different location if you weren't having much activity.

I have a Cabelas model which has this feature, it retailed for about $200, which is pricey, but between gift cards and sales I'm sure you could find cheaper.

I also have 3 Steathcam models which lack this feature, they take good pictures but I prefer the other camera better.

Have used many types . Moultrie top end are good but I have not found better than Browning. Good pics and excellent battery life. Many of the cheaper ones take good pics but chew through batteries resulting in the same cost as better cameras .
