Garmin striker 4 plus

Looking at picking up one of these for the little boat.....any insight as to which transducer I should go with off the bat?
Reviews look good....my other unit is a hook 4 without GPS.
Will likely get the portable kit to go with it so I can take advantage of the flasher ice fishing.

i have the striker 4 portable for my pontoon and use it for ice fishing. when ice fishing turn on the surface noise reduction.......
