traded for a .204 Rem 700 VTR on here and cant wait to give it a go!

what bulletts are working for you guys the best? 32gr or the 40gr? I dont reload so looking for the best factory ammo.

Bipods? or shooting sticks? which models should i be looking at? i am 6' tall. would like the option of shooting while in a sitting postion for yotes.

Try both 32 and 40gr and see what the barrel likes best. Both will drop coyotes with the 40 carrying a bit more energy out to 300yds which i believe is getting to the max range for this caliber. Winchester's 35gr hp is another to look at. I prefer shooting sticks when I'm sitting and calling, have some stoney point rapid pivot and really like them for calling coyotes. Have fun and shoot er lots.

Default 204

i have a Remington SPS Varmit. Use both the 32 and 40 gr both shoot great. Use a Bog Pod shooting system with the Xtreme shooting rest. It all works very well

I would get a few boxes of different ammo and see what shoots the best out of your rifle. Use those!

You'll love the .204, I have the stainless sps and it doesn't shoot the 40's worth a crap. Can put five tight with the 32 gr Hornady though.

Great caliber !
As stated prior the hornady 32 gr. ammo is good stuff.

I would start considering reloading too as you will probably really enjoy shooting that rifle often. If you do start rolling your own you will have good brass with hornady.

I would buy a Harrris swivel bi-pod with long "legs" for sitting and when retracted use them for your prone shots.
