whats this combo worth??

doing some research for my father in law. he's wanting to sell his setup to upgrade. wondering what you guys think this is worth. this is the info he gave me....also, would it be better to sell as a combo, or separate. the only think with the gun is, the stock was cut by his father for better fit. then he, added a piece of hardwood back on himself, stained and matched wood grain etc...did a very nice job IMO (he's a finish carpenter), so the seam is visible.

gun: husqvarna vapenfabriks ab 30-06. nitra. hard wood stock w/knurling on grips. around 15 years old.

scope: leupold 2x7x??(we think 32 or 35mm) Vari-XII. about 20 yrs old.

both used very little. well cared for. was just shot this year after collecting dust for about 8yrs.

any opinions will be helpful and appreciated.

The husky in 30-06 is worth in the $450.00 range and the scope is $175 to $200 if it is in excellent condition. FS

Possibly even less with the modified stock.

Probably in the $600.00 range. Personally, I would try to sell as a set first.
