Default Winterkill Trout

Was wondering if anyone has heard any info on winterkill situation on east central trout waters? Blood Indian, Capt Eyre, Coronation pond, Diplomat Mine pond... Our local pond at Loughheed has 2 airator systems in place, and still suffered a complete winterkill. Hope we have some active trout around at ice off.

I think blood made out ok. Not sure ive ever heard of it winter killing?? Me, my wife, my dad and his better half went up for the derby, dad ended up with a decent one, went just shy 2lbs. Won 2nd with it. Landed about 30 that day. Was there 3 other times during ice on, conservatively 60 each trip. Just non stop. Best would go about 2 lbs, but saw some real smokers, just couldnt suck em in.

Blood seems to be fine, and I've never heard of any problems in the 25 or so years I've fished there. The others I am not aware of...

Pics from a few weeks ago...
