Thumbs up Lacombe Park

The trout are there with the goldfish. A white fly is the favorite for goldfish.
I caught a 1.25 lb. last year.

Yes it is, I was there Monday. Got lots of bites but no fish for me. There were lots rolling on the top.

You are asking about the one in the town of Lacombe?

Thumbs up Lacombe Park Pond- St. Albert

There is also carp in this pond. I would love to catch the black and white one .I would estimate it is 5 lbs. This one is hard on my tackle and fishing line.
It broke the line like a tooth pick. It also broke the 15 lb line attached to the bait hook the pickeral rig.

Thumbs up Carp

I do not keep carp they help keep the pond clear in the summer time. They reel in like a dead log. There are a few with different colors and are not bothered by peoples shadow on the water. A few years ago a city worker told me that somebody had released pike in there. The St.Albert Gazette reported that fish was eating tax payers dollars.
Cheers
