Default Ghost Lake

Hey Everyone,

A few of us are planning to head to Ghost this weekend, I've fished it in the summer but never in the winter. I'm told that you head out from the boat launch and head towards the summer village.

How thick is the ice at Ghost?

Has anyone been having good luck? If so what seems to be working?

Thanks!

If you fish the banks between the launch and the village you'd be in the right place. Also over by the island can be good too. Haven't been out or talked to anyone who's been out there this year yet. Ice is 10"+. Guys have been out on it for a few weeks. Guys running bikes and quads on it yesterday.

Was out at ghost today for a couple hours, the little guy couldn't handle the hurricane winds...lol...where we were the ice was 13" thick, nice clear hard ice. We were 200 yards out from the west end of the parking lot where the ice sailing vessels are moored. Fished 80 fow marking fish in the 40-50 ft range.
