Default Zarra Spook

Hi Devo (cool name, remember the song...Whip It Good?)

Anyways. I like using the zarra spook or hula popper on cloudy, calm summer days. Those pike are leaping all over the place looking for that lure. The sound brings them up from their hiding places in the weeds.

Devo,

Yes. Here's a few pike flies I tied up last winter. They have a floating head but work well on a sink tip fly line.

I haven't tried them top water in the spring or fall yet.
