i was there wed 18 and was really slow for me but i was targeting the whites from shore. tons jumping but no takers at the spillway. water level is very high and was flowing fast from the spillway lots of dislodged weeds that was a nusance on the line. clarity was good other than the floating vegetation.i hit 3 different areas on travers and then hit little bow res, then badger, and a few other places 7 in total and all said and done one hit for the entire day. i am thinking because the wind came up all of a sudden and the water on all bodies of water i hit got cloudy from the waves hitting the shoreline. hot as hell too so bring lots of sunscreen, water and ice lol.

Fished Travers last sat and between three of us we caught a good 60 with 2 that we kept for supper.

A good day most at the spillway but a few nice ones were caught at Wolf coulee as well.

Lindy rig with leach was the perferred method

Spillway was hot for us. 135 eyes caught over Wed and Thurs this week. Only managed 3 keepers tho. As mentioned, the floating weeds is real annoying. Weather was great and the water fairly calm.

Fished it yesterday, wind was blowing so bad it was impossible to anchor off anywhere on the lake.

Most of us called it quits, a few with no care for their or their passengers well being stuck it out

Not a good day to be at Traverse.

Same report from us for yesterday, big waves and relentless wind.

Didn't get a sniff anywhere on the lake with the exception of a few small eyes at the spillway.

Good day with the exception of an upper body builder genius who wasnt looking where he was going on his PWC and ran right into the front of my boat. Didn't apologize either. Knucklehead!!!

Default Not the first

Anytime someone collides with you ...You want to get all their info
like a car accident ....They can be charged and lose their licence just
like an auto incident ...

If this guy was wearing a red life jacket , this would not be his first
incident there...The description ...all rhoided up matches a regular travers knucklehead...ie. Doing speed laps around the two slow speed buoys ..

sheeeeeeeeesh

Thank you for the advice Winch. It wasn't a guy with stripes. Just a bonehead who was busy growing his pipes and not his calves, and I jumped into the bow of my boat and shoved him before our crafts collided. Best part was he thought it was my fault judging by the look on his face. Driving a seadoo while looking behind you at the boat launch is a bad idea...

Eyes up meathead!
