Default Bow river regs????

Just want to clarify the river regs. Although I have read them, I thought I would ask. From canmore to the seebe dam the only trout you can keep is Brooks? Also has anyone ever caught any lake trout in there. The reason I ask is a friend of mine says he has caught tons of lake trout there in the summer. Which I would think to be awesome

You are correct..its not until

from first dam below Hwy 1X downstream to Ghost Reservoir (not
including the reservoir) where you can keep one fish that may be a rainbow ,brown , brookie or laker fromjune 16th to october 31..
