Default Dried Meat lake

I haven't been out for a few years but I was hoping to take my boys out tomorrow for a few hours. I was thinking of either Dried meat lake or coal. Never have been to DML, how is the access and how is the ice? Thanks.

I have not been to Dried Meat Lake, but I was out to Coal Lake two weeks ago. Ice was good to drive on, but the fishing was very slow.

Go to dried meat.... Fishing is good, ice is thick. Just go to tillicum beach. There's about a dozen shacks there. Fish right in that area. You don't have to go far, a jig and Minnow will keep the kids in 2-3 lb pike.
