Default My honey holes off hunter valley road (pics)

Took the wife fishing at my personal favorite spots in our beautiful province.
Caught more cutties than we could count along with numerous bulls. Including a 5 liber that my lady got. Unfortunately battery died on phone before we could snap a pic of the big boy! beautiful fish and scenery, truly magical place.
As a result of the low snowfall last winter the run off was poor and the streams and creeks here are lower than that of last summer. Resulting in new weeds and lots of green algae matter. Potentially because of more sunlight piercing the creek bottoms and encouraging growth?(lemme know if this is a fair assumption?) however all streams and creeks we fished yesterday look healthy, as are the fish which are in abundance. We practice good fish handling techniques and only ever out of the water for 2 seconds for a photo opp. Always catch and release! Cheers and enjoy the photos folks!

Some beautiful territory for sure, looks like it is fairly remote. Nice pictures and fish!

My curiosity is really going and maybe its just the photo fooling me but...

Why does it appear like your left foot has a right shoe on it in the 6th picture?

Calm down fellas, I only gave a name of a road which is very long and filled with lots of spots and terrain. It's not always about secrets and taking your locations to the grave!
