Default Rapala Magnum!

Well, I'm still catching itty bitty trout on F-18's an I'm sick of it!

Anyone use a magnum for trout?

I'll probably pare down the hooks to something lighter gauge.

Gotta go bigger!!!!

Yeah, they are used for sharks and tarpon and stuff.

I still have that 11 inch crank in a rainbow pattern for you. And I can loan you a 9 inch older rapala that has some glorious action. Careful if you go to Church (saves posting on the other thread), if you can kneel try higher up in the chalice.

Are you sure it is 9"?

I dont think you can get any of the older models quite that big unless it is a magnum.

I'll go take a picture of it beside a tape measure and send you the pic in about 10 minutes,, need to go in the chilly garage of messy fishing hell.

Enjoy the action of the 18-20 inchers in between the big ones! The big trout will take the mid-size lures.
