Default Spinning rods

My son just busted my best ultralight rod on a bad cast. Any suggestions on a good quality, reasonably priced light to medium action 6 foot spinning rod? What are the price points?

Thanks.

I just replaced my Old 2 Piece Browning with a

3 Piece Browning Sahara Travel Rod
Just tested it today, gave me tons of distance on the throw, and the rod is light as they come for a good price. Mine is 6'6. Paid $100 On Sale for Mine. Found it off in the back in a pile with a bunch

No luck on the fish though Hoping to have better luck at Travers or the Chin tomorrow morning. Break this new Rod in and catch a gooder.
I saw some 6'0 Ones at Outdoor World, Best of luck on your Search

I'm a huge Shimano fan. A Compre would probably fit the bill for you, really nice light sensitive rods with a lifetime warranty. They're $99-$109 depending on length and are a really good bang for your buck.

Also, BassPro has all the Walleye Series rods (IM8 graphite, nice cork handles, designed by The Next Bite guys) on sale 30% off right now, they had a really nice little 6'er there I was looking at the other day.

X2 Waxy. I just bought one of those in medium light. $49.99 or some are $69.99. Haven't tried it out yet, but it looks like a great rod.

I really liked them, especially for the price. The last thing I need right now is yet another rod, and I still almost walked out of there with one.

I took a long look (pun intended) at the 10' and 12' trolling rods too, it seems like a great idea, but at the same time, I can see it being a real pain in the butt in a lot of cases. Maybe next year...

Be sure to post a report on it once you had a chance to get a feel for it.

St. Croix rods are great...super sensitive and come with a lifetime warranty. You can get their entry level rods for around $90-$130. Most good shops, incuding BassPro have them.

Got a 6 foot BPS UL rod and its great, it is bronze color, with gold guides and it was 50 bucks.
Pulled in a 20 inch brown with it and it was a blast.
Only downside is you need to tighten the reel mounting ring every now and again.

Hell of a deal @ 50 bucks, im gonna get another as a spare, just in case i break it.
