Default Be Careful Out There, Folks!

I guess it's getting harder to enjoy the outdoors these days. 10-year-old hooligans everywhere!

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/britis...bike-1.4599629

Actually -- minus the sarcasm -- time for some lawyers to get disbarred. This kind of garbage should not waste court time.

Edit: I reread the article and there's no mention of a lawyer, so (hopefully) none would even take this case to court. I once had a law prof who reminded us that anyone with $35 can file a lawsuit (maybe it's a bit more by now). Anyway, at least the B.C. judge got it right.

Unbelievable. I just can’t understand that, trying to sue a 10 year old for her riding her bike and he tripped over her. Would have been hilarious to see in person or on video hahaha. I guess people try anything these days to get ahead and make some extra cash.

I’d feel pretty stupid jogging into the back of a bike. If this happened to me I would find out if the child was alright and then hope it got forgot.

Amazing how low some people would go to try and make some coin or how frail Someone can be to be injured this bad from tripping over a bike.

What a looser, if he talking about traffic laws, he rear ended her. He should be ashamed of him self.

This is a prime example as to why our Court System is overloaded!

Hey Kamloops kids! Do not dig holes in sand boxes as Rosario the mad jogger may trip in one and sue you.

You just knew that the clown would be able to find a couple of bottom feeders someplace that would take the case... and everyone wonders why the legal system and the courts are so backed up

Technically, he rear ended her! He should be liable in that collision! And what was he doing jogging that close to kids on bikes? Why not pass on the grass rather than stepping down from the sidewalk to pass on the street? Almost seems like her grand parents must be wealthy and he did it on purpose!

Typical of people's "Entitled" attitude these days, never responsible for one's own actions, it's always someone else's fault.

Thank god they threw it out, I would bet with the right judge, he would have won this ludicrous case.

Now he will forever be the guy who ran into a kids bike & tried to sue, at least there is some cosmic/karma justice.

I suspect that guy struggles often with life.

The judge should of made him pay court costs to discourage other frivolous claims.

That guy wouldn't last 2 minutes in my circle, we would taunt him mercilessly about getting beat up by a 10 yr old girl who didn't even know she was fighting

ROTFL... I think the last paragraph would constitute Bullying which is wrong. Which he might come back later on and have his feelings hurt then start crying, then go on a rampage kicking over 10 year old bicycles....
