Default Boat Dealer Reccomendations

Looking to upgrade from a runabout to a pontoon. The boat I have was bought without a whole bunch of research into the dealer itself. I ended up getting the run around a bit, and next thing I know the dealership is closed and follow up stuff was hard to manage.
So I'm looking for suggestions for good boat dealers in the province. I'm in Slave Lake, but I'm willing to travel anywhere.

Not sure if Albert is still running things at Lac la Biche, but he had great service and prices, when I bought my boat several years ago.

L & M Supplies has been in the boat and ATV/Skidoo business for years. He is located at High Prairie. Guy that owns it is Larry Marcott. I have dealt with him since back in 85, he always gave me good deals and good service. He would at least be worth a call. I know he still handles Lund but not sure about Pontoon boats.

In 2011 I bought a pontoon boat from O.J. Marine in Wainwright. Great service and they had the best price(better than Edmonton) for the model I was getting.

Default Boat Dealer

Try Thane @ free spirit marine in Edmonton, although i have not bought a boat there, did buy 2 new motors from him, he gave me a super deal, and fixed some minor warranty issues very fast!

I’m glad that you’ve had good experiences with Free Spirit. I on the other hand did not.

Went to the dealer in St Albert the other day. Not one sales guy to be seen. Wandered for a bit before deciding to never go there again

Would that be the dealer “beside the river”?

Anywhere except Shipwreck (as the name implies), the one in Red Deer, or Nanton. All three I've read, and/or personally experienced, problems with. WE consistently hear bad things about these crooks.

I do my business with the "Riverside" Lund Dealer - St.Albert Honda. They have always been absolutely spectacular to deal with and will honour warranty and fix things without question. Even if I break them. lol.

Josh at Martin marine sports is supposed to be super! Heard from a couple guys at work, one who is still dealing with him and one who has friends who have dealt with him. Not sure if they have the boat you are looking for though. Good luck

I wouldn't give Barry Jay's a dime. Had more than one negative with them. Too long a story to list.
