Default First big bull of the year!

Well took a evening trip last night, it was a slow one only landing 3 fish between my girlfriend and I. Right before one of my final casts I hook into this beauty bull, it some how managed to get tangled in some ones old line and ohh boy was that an adventure wading out to net/free this gem

Just under 30"

Great pics! Love the 2nd one.... the Bullie looks a little taken by surprise, as if saying "well....gee....I didn't expect that move"

Sorry due to historical over fishing .in the past considered a pest species. Habitat destruction logging and O&G. Native char and trout are threatened for the most part. bulls zero havest province wide. cutts and athabasca bows very limited.

Thought that at first glimpse in the water but this is the lakers I catch in the area

Honestly I had to zoom in to see the details of both fish, but I am positive this is a bully,
We get the odd one every now and again but it's been a year since we have had bull this big, a 20" every couple trips is common for us.

Nice fish. But I may have to say x2 on the laker. The colors look more like it than bull.

Ya the pics aren't very clear.

A lot more exciting to get a bull than a laker there.

I would be pretty comfortable saying that's a laker as well. Either way, nice fish, congrats.
