Default Sunday Pike

July was good to me fishing and so far it looks to continue. Had a pretty successful weekend fishing, went for the all nighter Saturday and went back out Sunday to the lake

First trip to the lake of the month 16.7 pounds

I realize the last picture I am holding the fish at arms length but my cousin was afraid of the shark lol

He counted as 2 on the fish talley for her

Yeah she said it was slimy and smelt funny, next time it will be you helping I will just pull them all into your side of the boat and be like let me know when it's off.

Did you get a length on that one? I am still hunting for a 40+ inch 15+ lber. I have caught 6 pike ranging from 37 to 39 inches and 12 to 14.5 lbs but unable to find that next size up.

No measurement on that one

We passed you on the lake,

We were being harassed by people following us around asking to see the fish. One guy actually got tangles in our line multiple times. We tried to get them to the boat and unhooked really quick to avoid more attention.

My largest to the year was 43.5 inches just under 20.

We caught piles at the 6-12 pound range last night as well. I was still on the high from sturgeon fishing that these fish seemed to boring till we looked back on it.

Yeah there were some real winners out there on Sunday... Reminded me why I prefer to fish there during the week.
