hello everyone in sept i will be heading to lloyd to take part in the oil show,this will be my second time in lloyd, i want to do some fishing while up there,just don't have a clue where to start, any suggestions would be great, flyfishing or spin casting dosen't matter, thanks
We have a couple of stocked ponds around Lloyd you can fish for trout. Descent lakes for walleye and pike are about 1 1/2 hrs to the north east of town in sask. The NSR is always good in this area too. I will be at the Ridgeline Environment booth. stop by and i will point you in the right direction.
Try the NSR around the Toby Nolet Bridge just out of Lloyd by 30 minutes.
Take 303 north out of Lloyd, then just follow it to 21, my families farm is just north of that bridge.
Whenever I make it out there you can for sure find me there. Walleye and sauger are very abundant, minnows and pickerel rig is all you need. It is a nice sandy bottom, with a sandy beach for a shore. The water swirls very nicely too.
