I admit defeat. The boat gets the treatment today because it was so beautiful here yesterday that we had to float the boat one last time. Nearly out of gas and the batteries depleted we stayed until dark and had a tough time getting on the trailer. When we left there was still 5 boats on the water and the almost full moon was grinning down on them. See ya next year.

I fully expect to be the only one out there in the next couple weeks and that's the way I like it!!

Such good weather still for fishing. My kids finally got their new jet boat that was supposed to be delivered back in June so we had to take it out for a few hours on Saturday. I could post fish pics, but their dog in four of my socks to keep the new boat clean is more entertaining.

My last day will most likely be this Tuesday or Wednesday ... getting a bit tooo cold for the float tube, unless we get some warm chinook next week then may try Troutville near Rocky.

Looks like I got an extra weekend from what I thought a month ago. Boat goes into hibernation tomorrow! Only boat on the lake... Love this time of year, fat fat fat.
