Default HUsaberg fe501? opinions?

Anyone here got a 2014 or 2013 husaberg fe501, or KTM 500xc-w, or Husky fe501??

Just going to be using for trail riding, blasting down some empty fire road type stuff.

Last year for HUsa's but it looks like it comes with quite a few upgrades over the KTM. Haven't really looked at the husky.

The Husaberg and Husqvarna are the same company, the 2014's are identical!

Other than that, I don't have much to offer other than I ride a KTM 250xc-w and will be buying a KTM 690 Enduro R this season.

Depending how heavy you are you may want to consider the fe 350 lots of power and less weight. The 501 gets mighty heavy feeling in the twistys. The 4cs forks are pretty great out of the box and with simple clicker adjustments you can dial them in pretty close.

haha, here's the thing. I am ummmm, not light.

I was looking at the FE350, and a friend of mine with an KTM 350 XCF-W (same bike essentially) figured I should be going up to the 500 class for my weight. (hey, at least he didn't say get a diesel)

If you are 230lbs or more the big tractor might do you well. 1st and 2nd gear should climb anything even straight up trees with a little finesse

I think Blackfoot direct has a few 501s left. Cycleworks Foothills had a few left when I picked up my Dads 300 a few weeks ago. I guess they are a great choice if you want to run a timbersled setup in the winter.
