Default another sign of Spring - migrating Swans

There were many large flocks of Swans on the fields East of Airdrie as I drove home from the Calgary Gun Show. Unfortunately, I did not have a camera with me, so no pictures.

I only saw a few small flocks of Snow Geese and Lesser Canadas, but the numerous Swans made my day.

Smile There here now

They are beautiful that is for sure, and fly low so we can get a good look.

They have stayed around for a few days as we have had a north wind.

Default

I started seeing Swans here about a week ago.
Not big flocks, we never get big flocks of them. Mostly just tow or three at a time. Which is what we have now.

I'm heading out to try for some photos of the spring migration in an hour or so.

I'll post if I get any good photos.
