You do need a jetboat too get to these spots. Probably the first time this year these fish have seen a lure.

It's getting better. Anyone that's caught a big river pike knows how they fight. This 40 1/2" pike was crazy. The 30" walleye eludes us but the number of 24" to 28"walleye makes up for it.

Fall is the time to get off the lakes and start fishing the major rivers. Especially for big walleye.

Awesome fish. Tough to beat fishing on a river when the fish are there and biting! The sound of the water, the constant movement... Goes hand in hand with a beverage on a nice sunny day.
