Hey folks we had a great four day trip to a private pheasant lodge in the interior of BC last week. My chocolate lab got 19 of our 25 birds between my buddy and I. She was on fire.
I do have a question as I am in need of some advice. On the third day I was petting my girl and found that here coat was full of grass seeds. Literally hundreds. I brushed her with my Furminator brush and pulled handfulls from her coat. I have been home for a week and everyday I still get a few when I brush or pet her. I do not believe this is speargrass. They are more like normal grass seed. I have very closely checked her paws, ears, eyes and nose as well and have not found any. She seems to be fine and is not licking excessively or any other signs of discomfort. I have put a photo of the seeds in case anyone can tell me what they are and what I can do. Thanks for your help folks.
