I was at the 130th Ave Lowes east of Deerfoot earlier tonight and they had a clearance area set up in the seasonal section. I spotted a fair number of Generac 25 foot generator cords, normally $134 marked down to $33.04. They had a reasonable number of them, perhaps 8 to 10 or so. They also had shorter ones marked down, perhaps they were 10' or 12' and were cheaper than the 25' ones. All were new in box.

Thanks for the heads up. Snagged 8lbs today. Going back tomorrow after work to see if there's more. $3.49 is a really solid price. Buy it cheap, vacuum seal, freeze, stack it deep.

I haven’t opened them up to trim yet-we let them age in the fridge in the cryovac for a bit longer. I was able to pick thru and get some that appeared to be leaner than some of the others!

I'd be wary personally. Giant Tiger is like a cross between a ghetto No Frills and a dollar store in my town. I wouldn't buy meat from No Frills, I'm sure as hell not buying it from Giant Tiger.

x3. I went into the storage area of the one on 144 Ave and 76 St in Edmonton looking for a clerk. It was FILTHY. No way I would buy food from there. Thanks for the tip on the Brisket. Great price and nice meat, a little trimming is no big deal at that price. Bought a half dozen.

Kinda guessed that about giant tiger but wasn’t sure. Only one store in Calgary in the SE.

Hit the No Frills in Inveremere last night and Schirnders bacon was 2.97 a pack. Don't know if the same in AB. but I'm stopping there on the way home tomorrow! Pork roasts at .97 a lb too.

Headlamps. Guys Costco has these on for $20. I bought em cuz we use them setting up dekes for morning hunts, packing up when ice fishing, and looking for blood trails of downed game in the bush. All I can say is wow. Best I've had by a country mile, and I'm always buying these things. You can't go wrong with these.

SNS, thanks!

I was actually at Costco fuelling up to go hunting for the week when this notification popped up. That never happens. Lol.

Grabbed enough for everyone in the group.
550 lumens is incredible out of a head lamp.
Thanks again.

They are awesome for working on vehicles too! Way better than a trouble lamp.

I bought a set for river fishing, enough for me and two friends!! It really does help with leaving in the dark, we can stay after dark.

Are they rechargeables? Or still require the batteries?

Calgary Beacon Hill had them as well so suspect most of Costco's in AB have them at that price.

Costco in Edmonton (91st St) has AAA brisket for $7.49/kg. I grabbed a couple. They look like they shouldn’t need a ton of trimming before they hit the smoker for Thanksgiving.

Default Butcher Paper - Costco

A long time ago, Costco carried butcher paper, and no one could touch them for price.

I was at the west end Edmonton Costco this AM, and they had a pallet of butcher paper!!

18 inch, 900 foot roll. $29.99!!!

This is a test the waters product, so get it while they have it.

Had the wife stop by the new sw Costco in Calgary on her way home from work this evening and they did not have any in stock (or anyone aware of any), so may be select Costco stores.
