Default Ryan Jesperson fired from 630 ched.

Doesn't surprise me that he got fired from 630 ched.
To me he was always a bit of a loose cannon.

Yeah, read that this morning. The only surprise is that he didn't get skidded sooner. Not that I often listened to him, but he never ruffled my feathers any. Apparently the thin ice finally broke? Calling somebody a chimpanze is going a bit far. Unless it is true.

Good. I couldn't take that guy. They have done terrible since Rutherford retired in terms of male talk show hosts.

I liked Rutherford and I like Danielle Smith.

Whenever Jesperson did the province wide broadcast when Danielle was away I couldn't change stations quickly enough!

His voice grated on my ears along with his his liberal opinions

rutherford was pulled off the air before his retirement , coincedently it was right after he said words to the effect that Nenshi did not save calgary from the floods all by himself and that the city response was lacking . so who does control the media ???

Sorry, Rutherford talked issues, Smith does household chit chat. I moved on.

Interesting that a bunch of media personalities have recently been let go (Stacey Brotzel and Rob Williams CTV Morning News Edmonton) and Ryan Jespersen. Ratings week results?

Same here, I couldn’t stand listening to his drivel. His idea of talk radio was him talking and talking and talking....

I liked him as he stirred the pot....got the poop flowing....people sitting in thier basements with hot dog juice running down thier chins reaching for a handout yet complaining....priceless.

I could care less about Ryan jesperson but it just goes to show that if you don’t fit the narrative of the media medium, you’re gone. More proof the media is grooming us to follow or be viewed as an outcast.

Agree, I kinda thought he was in the doo doo when Smith did the whole week, then was back on the next Monday. I didn't hear the show that got him fired but he had a hate on for Nickel.

I could tolerate his shows most days when on the road, others I had to go to music channels. He called himself a centrist but he really was a red blooded lefty. Not saying but just saying as he used to say on air.

I am glad he is off the air and wonder how it took so long with the way he called people out for not following his stance. I'm not hopefully that Ched will fill his spot with anything other than a lefty to appease the Redmonton listeners.

Rumors were abound he would run for the AB party leadership a few yrs back. Wonder if he has his eyes set on politics now.

True, ok listeners, we have time for you right up to the news after the break. Then he would ramble on for the whole time and read 2 texts.

I sure wish he was fired for having low listenership rather than becoming a victim of the cancel culture and outrage mob.

The culture he advocated for, ended up eating him. Maybe he learned something.

Totally agree with the sound of his voice thing, off switch ASAP. He wasn't that liberal in my opinion, but rather foolish and not part of rational thought...a buffoonish fool.

Just listen to Calgary Global at 6am in the morning. The girls are real liberal political activists on the left spectrum. They might run for office. Not much air time for any other conservative points of view.
