Default Pierce Lake Fishing

Hey all,

Heading up to Pierce Lake next weekend, and would love some pointers. Any tips on parts of the lake, depth, lures or technique would be appreciated. I'll have my 3 year old on the boat, and would love to get a few on the line to get him fired up.
I have never had any luck with lakers, so even the most basic advice would be welcomed.

Ive heard good things about the confluence of the cold river on the west side of the lake for lakers. Last time I was there, the campground owner was recommending large tube jigs in the deeper water and clear shallow running rap's for when they were rising. Apparently theres good eyes under the bridge to Lepine lake. You can sight fish pike along the shore lines in the bay of the PP.

Jig a buzzbomb at the mouth of where the cold river comes in. Fish were sitting down at 60-80 feet on bottom.

Pretty standard trolling set up - see cold lake thread ........ same things work. boat speed slow 1.8 to 2.5 mph trolling.
