Spray lakes fall fishing?

How is the fishing this time of year before it freezes up? What can a guy expected With fish locations and fall habits? not sure if I am going to take the boat out or just fish from shore.

Nobody has any experience fishing out here in the fall? I guess everyone is out hunting that time of year.

Lake Trout should be close to shore now for the next couple weeks.
