Default need some burbot advice please

Hey guys and gals, wondering if anyone could point me in the direction for some burbot I could catch and looking to keep 1 to eat, never ate one before. And bringing out a friend that's never caught on before. I have never actually target them just have caught them while pike fishing. Not looking for and honey holes just to get pointed in the right direction! Thank you everyone!

You will have to head north if you want to keep a burbot, as far as I know most lakes in PP2 are now closed for burbot so they can spawn. In NB1 there are some lakes you can still keep them at.
As far as bait, I find a smelt or minnow on a jig head a few inches off the bottom has worked well. Sorry I cant really help too much other than that lol.

PP1 also has lakes open for burbot until the lake closes for the season
