Savage actions are known for being true with their barrels.

Pair that with one of the top carbon barrels in the world. They should all be capable of 1/2 moa.

Shootabilty, heavier guns are more stable. Would be really nice to carry which to me is more important so I prefer nothing over 8lbs all ready to go. It would be a great fit.

The only downfall to Savage is a reslly heavy bolt lift

The stock on the Savage looks terrible too - I have no reason to think it doesn't perform great, but it looks ugly to my eye.

Still, it's about $1000 less than the equivalent gun from Christensen Arms so they have to save somewhere.

If I was in the market I'd still take a serious look at the Savage.

I’m with you, the action and bottom metal/magazines I can’t do once you’ve sipped Tikka/Sako koolaid. I bet they are functional af and shoot lights out but still a pig with lipstick to me.
