Default Safari Club Calgary Article on CTV

SCI Calgary is proud to Host our Banquet this coming year at the Calgary Zoo. Unfortunately there's some negative response by some in the public. We thought the new location would be a wonderful change to our annual venue.

Please take a moment to read the linked article and vote on the poll as well. Thanks to Mr Little for providing the media with his comments.

Thanks

Good interview. I think there will be protestors at the zoo though this spring. Should bring it back to the petroleum club

There is a poll up on CTV. It is asking if hunters should be allowed to host events at the Zoo.

We are losing. We need to boost the numbers. It's 1/3 of the way down the page on the right side.

Yup , and African trophy hunters on killing sprees , killing lions and Zebras and other exotic animals for a sick sport don't help either.

I hope this was posted in a sarcastic tone- there are smilies and such you should use if this was the case.
You must realize that without those things your post can only be taken at face value , which is basically a slap in the face to all hunters who have gone to Africa not just Americans!

Ignore the trolls fellas. I'm happy to have a discussion with someone but there's no discussing with ideologues of any stripe.

Guess if they go, they'll take the money they're contributing to the zoo, which apparently is substantial, with them as well. Thank you Cecil.

When did the Zoo get a hunt farm licence?

I voted, for the hunting team. This sure will garner some extra attention, I hope the attendees and executive are ready for it. I know several people that work at the Zoo, they are not opposed to hunting, except for items 1-101....
