Your son will most probably put it to better use than i would, lets keep kids motivated in tying.
X2, I can pass on the bison wool in favour of the young fellow getting enough to do something with.

Hey guys,my sincere apologies X1000,but I only just got the flies mailed off this morning.
I know I said I'd send'em last Tue,and sorry for excuses, but in all honesty it's been chaos pretty much from the moment I picked up Kingfosher's flies last week.3x16hr night shifts of snow removal, meanwhile trying to settle into new house/unpacking 1/2 a tractor trailer's worth of boxes, getting kids reg'd in new school, both of them sick with flu.....then off to BC for weekend for their first up close look at the Rockies, back home late Sunday.I actually didn't even dig them out of my packed up man cave moving boxes til last night to sort and divi them up......sorry,thas all I got for excuses?

Anyhow, they ARE in mail now, really hope y'all get them for weekend.I'll post pics tonight when I get home.
Once again, truly sorry for delay, thanks to all for participating,Dave.

Sounds like you all had a lot of fun with this fly swap.
Sorry I missed it, streamers were always I guess the most
fun for me to tie too.

Don't know if I will be able to catch you all in another swap
this spring but sure would like to.

I'm down in the states so I'ld have to check out the delays and
requirements in shipping to CA. but also need to learn what the
swap requirements etc. are.

If you all do another this spring let me know, send me a pm if you
can, would love to participate.

Jeffie.

Just picked up my envelope, some nice ties indeed. Articulated streamers are really nice, hats off to whoever tied the "ice pick", that looks just amazing, top notch components as well. Next time i'll have to work harder and think bigger
What kind of gear will i need to launch this critter?

Peacock leech is very impresive as well, simple but deadly.

All of them are nice, but these two caught my eye first, will appriciate them all later on when little one hits the crib.

Big thanks to Grinr for hosting and going out of his way to get this swap completed. Btw you sent me my tube fly, that was an extra for you Griner!

Got mine!
Looking forward to trying some of them hopefully early April for some bulls. I'll admit I have never fished the bow so hopefully I can give that a try with some of these great flys as well this summer. I noticed mine is considerably bigger then what everyone else tied. I hope it still works for those big browns in there.
Thanks again grinr for hosting. And thanks again everyone for the awesome flys.

JR's arrived the other day too. thanks grinr from JR for hosting and getting the reamers out to everyone. definitely some beautiful work by all involved guys. not only pretty, but very fishy looking ties that are sure to entice some aggressive fish.

also pikecrazed thanks for the buff fuzz from JR. jeprli and kritofr thanks to you as well for your generosity towards the young man. be assured he'll be creating with it soon.
