Default Which two would you keep?

Hey guys , I am thinking of one of my rifles. I like them all and I am having a tough time deciding which one goes or stays. I have a TC Pro Hunter in .270 A 30-06 Ruger M77 mark 11 stainless laminate and a Savage 99C in .308
Which one would you sell??
I understand they are similar in some specs, but I like them all
Thanks

All three kinda overlap each other, I'd keep the 06 and dump the other two and get a longer range gun like a 300 wm or a 7mm mag, or at the other end if you deer hunt a lot, a 25-06

Do you have to make this sacrifice?

I say the 270 only because I don’t like it.

This is really not easy. I like them all. There is something special in all 3 off them.

If they have that sentiment to you, don't sell either of them, hand it down to a family member, or stash it at a friends!

My god man! With only 3 rifles you cant afford to sell any. You need to get out and start buying. Lol. Seriously if it were my decision the 270 would be gone.

For me the cal is kind of irreverent. It tough one you can't sell the 99! If the TC is a shooter I'd keep it if its a project keep the ruger.

I don't have anybody to pass the rifles on to.
I have no more room in the safe.
Its just that with three calibers that overlap so closely I feel I should move one.

By that same token there is nothing special about them either. I would consider all to be essentially the same caliber, essentially same value, same availability,
all are over the counter production products. All are easy to replace if the desired
I would like to see a greater spread in a gun safe.
In this scenario I'd go with the ol'06 the two others could both go imo.

Sorry Sitting Bull, thought you only had the 3. I would still get rid of the 270. Do you just want to sell one or are you buying something else?

Just want to sell one. And will buy something else. The other issue I should mention is that it must be left handed as I am blind in my right eye. This alone narrows the choice of caliber considerably.

You are right on as far as being run of the mill stuff. The attachment for me is the feel of, and the single shot of the TC.
The 99, well the history and the fact that it is not made any more. And I can use pointed bullets.
The Ruger 06 was my first left handed rifle as well as my first new rifle. And it looks good to me.

I could just keep the 06 and concentrate on something unique

Sell the 270 and 308, anything they can do a 30-06 can do as good or better, you have a .35 Rem and a 444, so no need to suggest a 300 win mag or anything.

Myself I have a small safe, an 8 gun sized one, which is more like a 6 scoped full sized, so I've had to really pick and choose my firearms. I ended up going with:

9mm carbine (range toy)
.22lr rifle (grouse)
12 ga pump
12 ga break open (f-i-l passdown, wife says it stays)
30-06 (deer)
.300 win mag (elk and moose)

and coming soon, .22lr compact for the kids to learn on and the wife to come grouse hunting with. Top shelf is ammo aaaaaaand I have a full safe...

Get yourself a worthy protege in the form of a nephew, or good young guy that wants to learn. Teach him to shoot and hunt, he can help with some of the physical work as you get too old. Gives you a great hunting partner and someone to leave your stuff to that will appreciate it.
