Default anyone had dealings with bushnell warrenty system???

I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x scope that doesnt adjust anymore, i had it on my remington 7600 30-06 and tried putting it on my new Tikka T3 30-06 but it does not adjust at all, its shooting high and left about 2 feet both ways, its groups just fine but wont come back to zero. i checked the warrenty on bushnells website and it says that the Elites have lifetime warrenty on them. But I am just wondering if anyone has dealt with these guys and if its even wroth sending it in seeing as i have to pay for shipping and handeling.

Also, i work at the army base in Edmonton, so the optics technicians could probably fix it for me for free, but that will void the warrenty all together.

any advice would be a great help.

thanks in advance.

I love my Bushnell Elite products, but hate the Canadian Warranty.
I use to deal with Bushnell warranty for a retailer and it sucked. More times than not our customers had to wait 4 -8 months to get something repaired or replaced. Their excuse always was that they had a backlog to get through.
Their service was terrible.

I have had friends deal with the Bushnell warranty in the US and praise it. They have a couple week turn around time. I sure which Bushnell Canada would get their act together.

I sent my binoculars in for warranty and they arrived at bushnell on Aug. 19.
They sent me a brand new pair and they arrived yesterday.

thanks for the reply, the replacement period is 1 year for the elite scopes, mine is 4 years old now but the repair warrenty is for life apperently, i dont think they will give me a new one. it would be nice though.

I would probably get your Army buddies to fix it for you if they can. I've heard awful things about Bushnell warranty in Canada.

Had a prob with a bushnell trophy scope and sent it in they sent me a new scope less than 3 months later. That was several yrs ago and the scope was several yrs old at the time. I sent it in after hunting season was over cause I knew they would be backlogged during.......am happy with the service. Just write a short note explaining prob and never got any grief.

Wisebuck's experience is typical of their service....do what he says and they will send you a new one.

It took them 8 months to send me a replacement 3200 rifle scope. Not impressed. Have not bought a bushnell product since. This was 2 years ago.
